DR. SHAKIBA DJEDDI BSC (HONS.), DC – CHIROPRACTOR
Dr. Shakiba Djeddi is a graduate of Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. She also earned an Honours Bachelor of Science Degree in Integrative Biology and Health Studies from University of Toronto. Dr. Djeddi is a diversified practitioner and is also certified in Activator Method and Medical Acupuncture from McMaster University. Dr. Djeddi keeps her self-updated with the current literature and researches on regular bases and incorporate her evidence-based knowledge in her practice in order to provide an effective and the best available care to her patients. Dr. Djeddi is a wellness expert and her main goal is to keep focus on the patient’s well-being in order to make a difference in their quality of life. She uses a wide range of treatments and techniques including but not limited to chiropractic adjustments, medical acupuncture, soft tissue release techniques, joint mobilization/traction, kinesio-taping, MRT, Activator Method, and Graston Technique – an instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization that can effectively heal tissues showing soft tissue fibrosis or chronic inflammation. She also engages in nutritional consultation, ergonomic advice, and patient education.

DR. MICHELLE SALGA, HBSC, ND – NATUROPATHIC DOCTOR
Dr. Michelle Salga, affectionately called “Dr. Mishka” is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor certified in bio-identical hormone therapy. She has a special interest in correcting hormone imbalances and works with a team of nurse practitioners to give her patients optimal care. Hormonal concerns such as menopause, thyroid imbalances, polycystic ovarian syndrome, infertility, low testosterone, low libido, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, post partum hormonal deficiencies and menstrual disorders are simply a few common health concerns that are treated in her office successfully. She is also certified in cosmetic rejuvenation acupuncture. Dr. Salga treats health concerns of all kinds varying from digestive disturbances, chronic fatigue, skin problems and depression/anxiety. She treats patients of all ages as well. Being a naturopathic doctor she uses natural treatments such clinical nutrition, herbs, homeopathy, acupuncture and supplementation to correct the health problem and possible nutritional deficiencies. Dr. Salga investigates why the health problem is occurring and how it can be fixed by the most gentle means possible. SARAH HIGGINS, B.SC (HONS.), D.CH – CHIROPODIST (FOOT CARE SPECIALIST)
Sarah Higgins is a Chiropodist (foot care specialist) who graduated from The Michener Institute at the top of her class. As a Chiropodist, Sarah is able to provide treatment for several foot ailments ranging from nail and callus care, foot pain, warts, plantar fasciitis, ingrown toenails, sports injuries, and orthotic therapy. While attending The Michener Institute for Chiropody Sarah was awarded with the Board of Directors Gold Medal of Academic Excellence, the Dr. Brian Brodie Award for Research, and was invited to speak at the Canadian Federation of Podiatric Medicine Conference. Prior to attending Chiropody school Sarah graduated on the Dean’s List with a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Kinesiology from York University. Apart from her passion for health care, Sarah is an avid cyclist, runner, and soccer player. Sarah has an exceedingly strong commitment to patient centred care; implementing the best practices of evidence based medicine. She possesses excellent communication skills and superior attention to detail that assists her in providing an optimal patient experience. SCARLETT JONES BSC, MA IN COUNSELLING PSYCHOLOGY – REGISTERED PSYCHOTHERAPIST (QUALIFYING)
After working in the healthcare field for over five years, Scarlett desired a more fulfilling career path to help clients on a personal level. She then graduated from Yorkville University with her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. Presently working as a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), Scarlett is excited to have a career that embraces her values of compassion, authenticity, and adventure. Her professional, academic, and personal experiences have shaped her passion for empathy and active listening in the therapy room. Using a culturally sensitive and collaborative approach, Scarlett works to establish a safe and supportive environment to explore the concerns that are most important to you. She has experience in both individual and couples therapy and believes in following a research-based yet holistic approach. Scarlett specializes in topics such as chronic pain, depression, anxiety, relationship issues and eating disorders to name a few. Nikki Xue Jiao Yang graduated from the Pharma-Medical Science College of Canada to become a registered massage therapist. She is a member of College of Massage Therapist of Ontario in good standing. Nikki provides – Deep tissue massage, sport massage, Swedish massage, and relaxation massage. She uses verities of techniques such as mobilization, trigger-point therapy, myofascial release, and stretching. Nikki with her extensive knowledge and experience to treat chronic headaches, back pain, sport injuries, prenatal and postal natal. She is committed to creating individualized treatment programs for a variety of injuries and to help clients reach their goals.

ETHAN ZHU RMT – REGISTERED MASSAGE THERAPIST
Yuancheng (Ethan) Zhu graduated from the Pharma-Medical Science College of Canada to become a registered massage therapist. He is trained in a variety of techniques including Swedish massage, deep tissue, sports injuries, fascial release, stretching and remedial exercise. He is a knowledgeable Sport Massage Therapist who provides client-centred care through specialized massage services. Whether a desk worker or a sports lover, i.e badminton and ski, he understands each client’s unique goals. Ethan believes manual therapy and fitness/exercise can help recover and benefit overall health. His focus is to educate and rebuild his clients to live pain-free lifestyles through manual therapy and daily movement. Ethan has enhanced remedial exercises for home training to improve clients’ muscle and soft tissue functions.

“Rachel” Yujeong Seo, B.A, R.AC, R. TCMP, REGISTERED ACUPUNCTURIST, AND REGISTERED TRADITIONAL CHINESE MEDICINE PRACTITIONER
Rachel is both a Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner and Registered Acupuncturist. She is a Dean’s Honours graduate of the Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner program at Humber College as well as the recipient of the Tzuchi scholarship. Rachel has extensive experience in skincare techniques, face and body care. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Beauty Arts from Korea; Certificate of Skin & Body massage (an advanced course involving 480 hours, Seoul, Korea, 2010); Diploma of Skin Cosmetics and body care (640 hours, Seoul, Korea, 2002); National License of Beauty Art (Seoul, Korea, 2007). As an expert in K-beauty, Rachel’s strengths are in treating dermatological concerns, cosmetic and facial rejuvenation. Her other areas of interest include woman’s health, fertility, muscle and joint tension and pain, stress/anxiety, and sleep disorders.Rachel has additional training in guasha, tuina, moxibustion, and cupping, electro-acupuncture, and will often incorporate these techniques during treatment. As a Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner, she can also provide herbal formulas. She pays attention to detail, creativity, and a wide range of relevant skills are what differentiate her.
