The [clinic] Chiropractor Health Centre is now offering telehealth for chiropractic, naturopathic medicine and psychotherapy services.
In these times of uncertainty, we are now combining technology and health care (telehealth) to provide our customers access to the above mentioned health care services remotely. We want to ensure that you are able to meet your health goals and maintain them during this period of isolation and social distancing.
We don’t want to risk your body getting stagnant during this period of self-isolation. We want to make sure that you are able to take control of your pain/injuries as soon as possible with our virtual telehealth sessions.
What is a Virtual Telehealth Session?
Customers can book an appointment online from our website for the following services:
• Naturopathic medicine
Once an appointment is booked, your practitioner will email you a link to your scheduled appointment. At the time of your appointment, you will click on the link and engage in a virtual and secure video conferencing session with your health care practitioner.
This session will be very similar to an in person session. Your practitioner will ask you several questions to better narrow down your symptoms and find the root cause of your issue. The practitioner may ask you to move and may question what movements are causing the issue you are experiencing.
From that point, the session will become more personalized once the practitioner understand the root cause of your issue. The practitioner will explain the following:
- What is causing your issue
- Factors influencing your issue
Once you fully understand the issue, the practitioner will provide tips on how to mitigate and manage the problem. Depending on the issue, this can mean educating you on postures and positions to avoid and various exercises that can improve the pain. The session will end with your practitioner giving you an exercise program that you can use to work towards your recovery, mentally and physically.
